Arts@KKH 27 Nov 2012
Our P3 to P6 choir pupils performed at Arts@KKH.
We sang 5 songs during 2 performance slots on 27 Nov 2012.
It was a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
It was very heartening to see little patients swaying to our music and singing.
We certainly hope to participate in Arts@KKH again.

Sentosa LJ for SYF Choir Pupils 21 Nov 2012
This is an incentive trip organised by the school to reward our SYF Choir members for our 2 years of hard work in preparing for SYF 2012.
We are indeed delighted to bring honour to our school with our Gold Award.
During our Sentosa Learning Journey, we have established even greater bond with one another.
We are indeed a family of SINGING ANGELS who SING AS ONE and BE AS ONE!
All the choir members could indeed work hard together and play hard together!
Keep up the good work, singing angels!

Choir Exchange - 16 March 2012
We had a very fruitful and exciting Choir Exchange Programme with 4 other school choirs: Coral Primary, North Spring Primary, Edgefield Primary and Rivervale Primary.
After our own warm-up session, Coral and North Spring Choirs joined us in the AVA Rooms 1 & 2 for combined training on the set piece: Music Comes. It was fun to have 3 different schools' choir members mingled among themselves according to their various singing parts. Children were really having great fun making music and making friends.
Later, Edgefield and Rivervale Choirs joined us in the Endeavour Hall. Mr Yong (Choir Director of Edgefield) led the 5 schools in physical warm-up. Then, Mr Chong (Choir Director of Rivervale) led the choir children in vocal warm-up.
Then the 5 school choirs took turn to each sing 2 songs on stage.
When Endeavour Choir presented our items, Edmund Yap 3B accompanied the choir on the piano. It was his first public performance. Well-done, Edmund!
At the end of the Choir Exchange Programme, Ms Lee (Choir Director of Coral, Endeavour & North Spring) led the combined school choir in singing the set piece. It was a moment to behold - it was heartening indeed to see so many like-minded young people coming together, united in the passion of music-making.
All the best, Choirs, in the upcoming SYF!

Dear boys and girls!
Welcome back to school after a long, fulfilling and restful holiday!
We will be starting our choir practice in week 2 of term 1.
This year, we are preparing for SYF which will be held in April 2012.
Our weekly practices will be on every Tuesday and Saturday.
Tuesday: 1.45 pm - 3.45 pm (starting 10 Jan 2012)

Term 1 schedule will be issued soon.
Our choir uniform has arrived and all of you will get to try out the made-to-measure uniforms.
The school has kindly paid for the uniform, so it is school property and we must take good care of it.
As for the shoes and socks, for hygiene purpose, it will be individual pupil's property.
Hence, pupils will be paying for them.
The following is the cost of shoes and socks/stockings:
Girl's black leather shoes: $20
Girl's white long stockings: $9
Boy's knee length socks: $4.50
Boy's black leather shoes: to be confirmed later
We will be collecting the money starting from week 2.

Many thanks.
