National Day School Concert: Community Singing

The Endeavour Choir did a great job in leading the school in singing 2 national day songs!
We sang with simple and interesting actions which the school followed along.

Plans for Choir in Terms 3 & 4

Welcome back to school in Term 3.
It was heartening to see everyone back at our first Choir Practice in Term 3.

The P6 pupils and teachers have stand-down from CCA to prepare for PSLE. We wish them all the best.

We are pleased to welcome Miss Eunice Yeo as one of our choir teacher-in-charge.

We are preparing for the following events:
1) National Day School Celebration Concert
2) School Year-end Concert (last day of school)
3) SYF 2014 (There will be several practices during December School Holidays.)

4) Choir Public Concert in Nov @ The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC)
- Intensive preparation will be held immediately after SA2.
- 25 Nov (Mon): on-site rehearsal 1
- 26 Nov (Tue): on-site rehearsal 2 + Concert (in the evening)

This is a ticketed concert. We are looking for parents to sponsor concert program design, printing of concert programs or printing of tickets. Kindly contact Mrs Tong if you have the relevant contacts. Thank you.

We look forward to our amazing Singing Angels performing for the first time in our very first EDP Choir Concert!

Important and Urgent!!!

Dear Parents,
Due to the hazardous level of haze, we are going to cancel Choir Practices for next Monday and Tuesday. There will also be NO performance at Scouts Camp Cultural Night on 25 June 2013 (next Tuesday).
We will be informing parents via phone calls and SMS.

Do take good care, everyone.
Drink lots of water and stay indoor.
Stay healthy and see you when school reopens.

Choir Concert Learning Journey 7 June 2013

In the evening of 7 June 2013, 18 primary 5 pupils went to the School of the Arts (SOTA) Concert Hall to watch an amazing concert presented by the Singapore Symphony Children's Choir: Rhythm and Rhyme. The young talents presented 12 magical songs. We had an enchanting musical buffet of songs of different languages and genres. This was indeed a fulfilling trip for the children. We are certainly looking forward to more of such learning journeys in the future.

June Holiday Choir Activities

Dear Singing Angels!
Here is a list of activities during the June Holidays:
1) 3 June (Mon): Choir Practice for P2-5 (10 am - 12 noon)
2) 4 June (Tue): Choir Practice for P2-5 (10 am - 12 noon)
3) 7 June (Fri): Choir Concert Learning Journey for P5 only (6 pm - 9.30 pm @ SOTA)
4) 24 June (Mon): Choir Practice for P2-5 (1 - 3 pm)
5) 25 June (Tue): Choir Practice for P2-5 (2 - 4 pm)
6) 25 June (Tue): Performance at Scouts Camp Cultural Night (4 - 9 pm @ Sarimbun Scout Camp)

A new consent form regarding 24 & 25 June (dated 3 June 2013) will be issued to the members.
Pupils who are missing 1st week practices will be notified via phone calls.

Arts@KKH 28 May 2013

On 28 May, 67 Primary 3 to 6 choir members, together with Chinese Dance, Guitar, Guzheng and Malay Dance pupils, participated in an Arts Community Event Arts@KKH. We had a fulfilling session singing for in- and out-patients as well as the staff of KKH. Our pupils presented 4 songs: 

(1) Land of Joy (2) Take These Wings (3) Firefly (4) Totoro.

The choir members' beautiful voices were so enchanting that the audience simply fell in love with our singing angels.
