Public Performance on 27 May 2014: Arts@KKH

Dear Parents / Guardian

We are pleased to inform you that the Choir, Guitar, Guizheng, Malay Dance and Drama groups are representing our school to participate in the Arts@KKH performance on 27 May 2014. This is a community outreach programme whereby we will be performing to KKH patients, visitors and staff.

 

• Pupils will report to school as usual on 27 May 2014 (Tuesday, Term 2 Week 10, post SA1).
• After an early lunch, pupils will set off from school to KKH at around 12 noon.
• The performance time at KKH is 1pm – 2 pm.
• Pupils will be dismissed from school at 3.45 pm (which is the usual CCA dismissal time).
• A simple snack will be provided after the performance at 2.30 pm in school. (own snack is optional)
• Pupils are required to bring their own water bottles.

 

Special instructions for Choir pupils:
1) Pupils to bring yellow Choir T-shirt to change after lunch.
2) Pupils to wear school pants (boys) and school skirts (girls).
3) Pupils to wear black school shoes and black socks.

 

Please sign the Reply Slip attached and return it to the teachers-in-charge by 20 May (Tuesday).

Additional Choir Practices Post-SA1

Dear Parents / Guardian

In view of the long break after SYF and SA1, and in order to prepare for the upcoming public performance: Arts @ KKH on 27 May 2014, we are planning for the following extra practices for all P3-5 choir pupils as well as P6 pupils who have indicated that they are participating in the event.

Please prepare the following songs for Arts@KKH:

6) Ping Ping Piang Piang Chua Sin Niu

Please make the necessary arrangement for your child / ward to attend these extra practices.

Pupils taking school bus must check with bus operator if there is bus transport provided.
