SYF matters

Dear Parents / Guardians,

our SYF competition will take place on 19 April, Tuesday.

Before the competition, there are  events which choir members participating in SYF have to attend:

1 April, Friday: Exchange session at TPJC  3 - 5pm
8 April, Friday: Rehearsal @ SOTA. 11am - 1pm

Pupils who are participating in the SYF will attend BOTH Mon & Tue choir sessions.

Pupils who are not participating will only attend Tue session.

For parents who are interested to watch the SYF competition at SOTA (this includes parents whose child is not participating), please contact Mr Kee @ 94519854 by SMS.
Please state your child’s name and class in your SMS and each child is limited to 1 ticket only.

(If there are siblings performing together, parents are limited to 1 ticket only).
Tickets are given at first-come-first serve basis. Transport will not be provided for parents.

As we believe that there will be many parents who would be interested to support your child at the competition venue, we seek your understanding on the limitation of the tickets.

Thank you for supporting your child as well to giving support to our Choir.

Welcome Back! 1st Announcement for the year 2016!

Dear Parents, Guardians, boys and girls,

hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday and are ready to embark onto the new year!

For the year 2016, there are a few changes made in Choir.

For Choir this year, we would like to introduce to you our new Choir teacher-in-charge, Mr Kee Loi Seng.

Assisting him will be 2 other teachers: Mrs Tong, who was away last year and Miss Wen Caizhuang.

On the first day of school (4 Jan, Mon),  our choir members will receive a consent form for the activities that will be taking place in Week 1 and 2.

Our pupils will need to stay back in school the next day, Tue, 5 Jan, 1.45pm - 3.45pm.

Our pupils will be having a new choir uniform. Arrangement has been made for tailors to come and take pupils’ measurement on 5 Jan, Tuesday (the next day).

Do make appropriate transportation arrangements for that day.

Our pupils will also be taking part in the SYF 2016 competition which will take place in April 2016 (after which P6 members will stand down from CCA).

Hence, in order to prepare our pupils for this competition, there will be at least 2 choir practice sessions per week.

For Term 1, our Choir practices will take place:
Every Monday, 3.30pm – 5.30pm
(There are no school bus services. Please make other transportation arrangement)

Every Tue, 1.45pm – 3.45pm

A list of dates for our other practices will be issued out later.

We look forward to see you next year!

Sing50- certificates of appreciation

Not everyone is in the picture. Nonetheless, it was a great experience for those who took part during the rehearsal and actual show of Sing50 event.
